About this piece:
The reference for this was a picture I took of my granddaughter while she was not so patiently waiting for lunch at the famers’ market.
To her, the wait seemed like forever, but for me the entire day flew by. Years from now, this moment will feel like it happened yesterday, leaving me to wonder how time can move so fast.
